YMM Laughlin Experience Sells Out in Record Time

Travellers departing this afternoon on the inaugural YMM Laughlin Nevada flight will be the first to make the trip with Caesars Rewards Air and Harrah’s Laughlin. Selling out the season in under eight weeks, the Fort McMurray Airport Authority has demonstrated the long-term viability of a Wednesday to Sunday winter charter service.

“The community’s response has been incredible,” says RJ Steenstra, President & CEO Fort McMurray Airport Authority. “Selling out in record time highlights our local market potential and puts us in a good position to attract more destinations in the future.”

This winter local travellers will escape the cold on Sun Country Airlines Boeing 737-800, thanks to a new partnership announced last fall with Caesars Entertainment Group and Harrah’s Laughlin – a fully owned Caesars Entertainment hotel and casino, located on the banks of the Colorado River and boasting 1506 rooms with 182 suites. The property sits on over 1,100 feet of river front property nestled in a private cove with 700 feet of soft sand beach.

“Laughlin is a great destination that provides great value for your money,” says Lorraine DeSeguin, inaugural flight passenger and previous visitor to Laughlin. “We like travelling to places where there is golf, sun and good food and Laughlin gives you all of that and more. Plus it’s a hop skip and a jump to Las Vegas.”

As Caesars Rewards members, local travellers will receive great entertainment deals and options for their next trip, allowing them to earn reward credits through both casino gaming and entertainment activities at nearly 40 destinations around the United States.
