Putting Focus on Meaningful Connections

From making recent headlines with the International Airport Review for her involvement with the 2023 Fort Chipewyan wildfire evacuation to being awarded as an inaugural scholarship recipient of the ACI-NA Educational Foundation in Washington, DC, earlier this month, Jessica Perry is a very dedicated and accomplished member of Team YMM as the FMAA’s Route Development and Customer Experience Specialist.

Originally from Montreal, Jessica started her journey at YMM in 2014 as a Security Guard. Over the years, she held various positions, including working with TAWS Security and Earls Restaurant while pursuing her Social Work diploma at Keyano College. Her commitment and exceptional performance led to promotions, and in 2022, she assumed her current role.

What drew Jessica to FMAA was her genuine enjoyment of working with the people on the campus, which she considers her second family.

“I find joy in meeting new people, establishing meaningful connections and thrive on the challenges my role presents as they motivate me to continuously improve and excel,” she said.

Jessica’s educational achievements include a Diploma in Sciences from John Abbott College and a Social Work Diploma from Keyano College. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Law, Management, and Governance from Athabasca University, further enhancing her knowledge and skills.

Beyond her professional endeavours, Jessica actively volunteers for organizations such as Support Through Housing Team and St. Aidan’s Society, demonstrating her commitment to the community. In her free time, she enjoys quality moments with her family, riding her motorcycle, reading, staying active at the gym, and dedicating herself to ongoing studies.

Jessica Perry is an exceptional team member who exemplifies dedication, passion, and a genuine commitment to fostering positive relationships within the YMM community. Her invaluable contributions to FMAA and her drive for excellence ensure a bright future.
