The Fort McMurray Airport Authority is governed by a board of ten directors, led by the Chair. Directors are appointed by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, the Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers, the Canadian Union of Public Employees and the Fort McMurray Airport Authority.
